ThermaShape works by delivering controlled amount of Radio Frequency (RF) energy to the dermal layer to give you tighter, more youthful skin. It effectively treats at the root of the problem. ThermaShape provides structural and visible changes not only in the shallow tissues, but also the fatty tissue deep in the skin layers. After the treatment, the fat cells shrink in size. The skin will be smoother, eliminating the dimpled effect.
Who is a candidate for treatment?
Women of any age or skin type can avail of ThermaShape. However, pregnant women and those with pacemaker or metals embedded inside their bodies cannot undergo Thermashape as RF interference will likely be experienced.
How many treatments will I need?
A typical treatment would consist of ten sessions. One session only takes about 45 minutes, depending on the treatment area. Succeeding sessions should be done at least once every four to eight weeks for maintenance.
What happens after a treatment?
You can see and feel some redness and warmth on the skin. Both signs will disappear within an hour or so.
When can I expect to see results?
One can see immediate firming in almost all patients as early as the first session. Desired reduction in size or dimpling can be seen after the full course of the treatment.
